Our History
Rehoboth Apostolic was formed when Bishop J. M. Brownie left England to fulfill a God-given vision he received earlier on in his ministry. After establishing three other churches in both Jamaica and England, the Lord led him to the United States where he founded Rehoboth in Milwaukee, Wisconsin in 1980. Today the church is pastored by his son, Pastor Mike Brownie who is licensed with the Wisconsin District of the United Pentecostal Church International.
Our Mission
Our mission has four simple parts:
1. Son ship: Learning to walk with God
Romans 8:14 “For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God”
2. Fellowship: Learning to walk with our brothers and sisters
1 John 4:21 “…That he who loveth God loves his brother also”
3. Worship: Learning to give true praise
John 4:24 “God is a Spirit, and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth”
4. Discipleship: Learning to make converts of men
John 12:32 “And I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me”
